On Easter Monday, despite preparations for our next cruise being in full swing, I was tempted out of the house by the presence of a ship at Burton Stather Wharf. The wharf was already disused when my ship photograph “career” began and, since it reopened last year, I’ve managed to miss all of the (rather few) ships that have called there. It was lucky that the occupant of the berth was a new sighting for me as that was the only one there was. The weather in York was a beautiful spring day but, as I got closer to Goole the sky became darker and darker until, by the time I arrived, it was fully overcast and all trace of the sun had gone. Anyway, here are the results of the afternoon’s work.
