QV Russian Rendezvous II - St Petersburg 30 Jun 08

The second day in St Petersburg wasn’t quite as productive in terms of new ships as the first day had been but that was understandable as a lot of the new stuff that I had seen on arrival was still there the next day. I had, of course, to attempt to square the circle in terms of the compromise between the amount of time available for on-ship photography and the amount of time already all allocated (and paid for) to on-shore photography. However, the “shore” excursion on day 2 also included a very pleasant boat trip on the Neva River which, amongst other things, granted me an excellent viewpoint for photographing the preserved cruiser Aurora.
