| Zeebrugge meant a very early start and I was anticipating that it would be a rich source of new sightings. In the event this proved to be reasonably true but a lot the day was “wasted” by going ashore and taking photographs of not ship related subjects in Bruges. Nevertheless the weather was extremely friendly and there was much of interest, including some well known regulars from the Humber and the Tees. Not sure of the exact score in terms of new sightings but 44 would be a good estimate. It’s been an awfully long time since I had anything like that number of new sightings anywhere in UK. |
